A 44-year-old man from Kalama died in a deadly hit-and-run collision in Woodland on Thursday morning after the automobile he was in was struck by one other driver, misplaced management and ended up in Horseshoe Lake.
A Washington State Patrol memo acknowledged Leonel D. Lopez Tello was southbound within the center lane of Interstate 5 close to milepost 21 when one other automobile moved into his lane and struck his automobile.
Lopez Tello reportedly misplaced management of his automobile, crossed the correct lane and the correct shoulder of the highway earlier than his 2006 Toyota Corolla went roughly 30 ft down an embankment and thru a chainlink fence.
